Citibank began its operations in Russia in 1992, when it was one of the first international banks to enter the Russian market. Today they are one of the largest banks in Russia according to number of corporate clients and assets.
Citibank provides cash management services on a global scale to more than 3000 leading Russian and international companies and financial institutions and also advises many of them on their international acquisitions plans as a financial consultant. They also serve more than 1 million retail clients across Russia. The bank’s retail clients have access to its services via branches, ATMs, hi-tech compact offices as well as through CitiPhone and Citibank Online.
PROJECTS
A fast track project (duration 6 weeks) requiring the conversion of existing bank premises into the new design and layout for Citibank’s first retail bank branch in Russia. Although we were appointed as the General Contractor there were additionally 6 other nominated contractors working on the site at the same time that we were responsible for coordinating the activities of. The contract was awarded on a competitive tender basis.
Following on from this project we also undertook the fit-out (with a similar scope of works) of a Citibank Branch on Prospekt Mira with Mott Macdonald as the Project Managers
RELATED PROJECTS
We had previously undertaken a major capital renovation of the Head Office of Citibank in Russia, located in the Ducat 1 Business Centre. This involved the renovation of the building's facade, an internal structural reconfiguration and, following this, the fit-out of the affected areas.
We also, at a later date, undertook a "re-stack" of the same area to improve space utilisation and created new reception and related Client Areas.
Within the same building where Citibank's first Retail Branch is located - Paveletskaya Plaza - we undertook the fit-out and reconfiguration of BP Castrol's offices totalling some 2,200m2
